Pogo's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Pogo's Story...
Pogo barely escaped a West TN high-kill shelter! This SWEET girl is around 2 years old and weighs right at 20 pounds. She is very easy going and loves everyone! She gets along with all the dogs in her foster home, but would also do fine as an only dog. Pogo is food aggressive with other dogs, so she would need to be fed separately (no free feeding) if she had any fur siblings. Pogo has a playful side, but she's not hyper at all... She is a true love-bug AND she is housebroken and crate trained.

If you are interested in adding Pogo to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. She is currently being fostered in west Tennessee and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. Transport runs to the following cities: Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; Willington, CT.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pogo, a Southington Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Southington, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
