Annie's Story...
Up for adoption in Texas: Annie! We have a gorgeous dog, who just wants a forever home! Can you help?

She is a sweet, shy dog who is longing for her own person. Annie becomes so devoted to those who love her. Annie can be shy around strangers. In a home, Annie is quiet and peaceful. She has her favorite toy, and loves cheese.

Annie is leash trained, crate trained and fully housebroken. Annie is great with other dogs. She will also be good with cats. Due to Annie's shyness, she would be better in a quiet home without young children. She would also do better in a home where a more confident dog can be by her side. Annie is about 45 lbs and one year old.

Annie is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
