Elvis is such a sweet and special boy! He loves laying on the bed with you and playing with toys or running around in the yard. Elvis had a forever home, but another pet in the home did not like him so unfortunately he had to come to his foster mom to find him a new home. He gets along EXCELLENT with other dogs other than being a little shy at first. He is in a foster home with SIX other dogs big and small, as well as three children, and is flourishing! He looks mostly dachshund, with an incredible fluffy coat. Can you find room in your heart for this special boy?

If you'd like to apply for this sweet boy, please complete an application at: http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and his foster mom will be in touch within 24 hours.

Come Meet Our Pets...

To meet our pets, contact us about any dog/puppy you are interested in and we'll set up a meeting time/date between the adopter and foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
