Whisper is one of those Shepherd/Hound mix girls that has a real swish to her walk and a great opinion about herself when it comes to being confident that she has a lot of love and great things to offer a person or family. This 2-3 year old Shepherd/Hound mix girl is only 50 lbs. and very easy and oh so gentle. Left at a local small townTennessee shelter for 3 months, this beauty came down to the wire on being kept alive there at the shelter. Her time was up and euthanization was the next step and seemingly her only way out. That is until Critter Cavalry Rescue heard about her. You can see it in her eyes that all she wants is to love a family or a person with all her heart and soul. The great thing about Whisper is that she is has a genuine desire to be friends with people, cats and of course other dogs that don’t overwhelm or intimidate her. We are working on her confidence with the BIG DOGS…. She is totally at ease with laidback dogs and we are recommending those types if there is already a dog in the family. In the short time we have had her, we are impressed. She is learning how to use a crate and what the housebreaking rules are and also how to walk like a runway model on a leash. Victoria’s Secret here we come! Whisper loves to receive your attention and praise. She will return all the love that you give her ten times over. She will be totally dedicated to being your girl. And if you give her a chance she might just “whisper” in your ear to take her home.
