My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arrival Story: Rucker and his brothers had a bad case of mange when they came to Waggin’ Tails. After special medication to treat the mange, a couple of rounds of antibiotics, and some extra love and attention they are now getting their hair back and feeling fine. Although they had a rough start they are now thriving, well-loved puppies. They have received age appropriate vaccinations and have been microchipped.

Approximate age / weight: 18 weeks and 16 lbs.

Personality: He's a puppy. Puppies are cute and bouncy and love to be cuddled. Each puppy has its own personality, of course. Some are more adventurous, some are a little timid, but they’re all at the stage where their personalities are still developing, and can be adjusted (to a degree) with training and socialization. Puppies are cute, but they also are a lot of work, and will need training and proper socialization to ensure they grow into well-behaved adult dogs.

Forever home: Young puppies can thrive in almost any situation, with the right guidance. What they need most of all is a family willing to put in the work and time to help them grow up, and to commit to caring for them their whole lives. Please remember, puppies don’t magically become well-behaved, well-adjusted adult dogs. It takes work and commitment on the part of their human family. They need to be taught where to potty, how to greet friends and strangers, and basic obedience. They need to be given lots of exposure to new people and situations to ensure that they are well socialized and confident.

Good With Kids: Yes, loves everyone

Good With Cats: Yes

Housetrained: Working on it

Crate Trained: Working on it

Walks Nicely On A Leash: Have yet to attempt

Knows Basic Commands: Learning quickly

Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate, or High): Moderate
