Facts about Bug

  • Breed: Anatolian Shepherd/St. Bernard Mix
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - With Black
  • Age: Puppy
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Bug is part of a litter of five that were born in the woods and saved by a nice lady that cared enough to provide food, shelter and TLC for them without their mother.

The first picture was taken on 03/06/2017and the second one on 02/20/2017.

We think the litter is of Anatolian Shepherd / Saint Bernard mix, they are big pups. They weigh about 30-40 lbs and are about 13 weeks old. Bug and her siblings were found at about 5-6 weeks young - abandoned and hungry. Neighbors were threatening to shoot them and we think that is what may have happened to their Mother. :-(

We vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas and ticks on 2/18 and the pups are now at the rescue. They are beautiful and healthy and will be great family pets. If interested, consider contacting us ASAP as they little beauties will be spoken for quickly!

About Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue

About Our Shelter...

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..

Donate to Our Shelter...

Find the Pay Pal Donate Button on our Petfinder page or Facebook page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.
