Duke is an owner surrender 8 month old puppy. He is full of puppy energy and puppy kisses! Sadly, his owners surrendered him because they weren't ready to take on the energy of this pup. Duke also has the softest, silky coat to pet. He is great with other dogs, cats and kids. We would love to see him go to a family that is ready to play with him and commit to taking him to obedience class. If you think you are ready for the puppy life, send an email to Christine@Howlin4help.com for an application.

About Howlin 4 Help Rescue, NFP

About Our Rescue Group...

Howling 4 HELP is and all volunteer, not for profit organization dedicated to finding happy, health and safe homes for animals that are stray, abused, surrendered or unwanted. We strive to energize people to provide ideas and resources as well as temporary and permanent homes for animals in need. Our focus is to develop committed, effective relationships with like-minded people who identify animals in need of help, foster caregivers, and shelters. We are also committed to educating the public about responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering pets, microchipping and training.

Our goal is to reduce euthanasia of animals that are found as strays or are surrendered by owners to shelters by networking, rescuing and finding new homes

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process starts with an adopter completing an adoption application that requires a vet reference and personal references. An adopter's current pets must all be up to date on shots as well as spayed or neutered. Once all of the information in the application is confirmed and references are checked, Howlin 4 HELP Rescue will schedule a home visit with the potential adopter. All dogs will have their age appropriate shots, rabies, worming, microchipping and be spayed or neutered -except those with certain medical conditions that may prevent this basic care. Puppies will have age appropriate shots and must be spayed or neutered by six months of age with a vet letter.
