Bailey's Story...
Bailey is a big beautiful boy who gets so very excited when people go by that his tail wags furiously. He is absolutely an upbeat happy guy....just not happy to be in a kennel. Bailey is all about getting love. Boy does he love his time with the staff and volunteers. We think he would make a wonderful companion. Just look at his big smile. And get to know his charming personality. Hopefully you can’t resist him once you get to know him. He really wants to find his forever home soon. Bailey is a youngster at about 3 years old who has been at the shelter since February 16. BAILEY - ID#A411255.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Santa Maria Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Santa Maria, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Santa Maria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Maria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Maria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Maria paves the way for another one to be saved.
