My name is Monty, but I am better known as a GENTLE GIANT! I am a big ole boy, weighing in at about 111lbs and I could still stand to gain a few more. I am a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix and just drop dead gorgeous! I was recently rescued from a kill shelter..I KNOW that is crazy right?? It wasn't my fault though, it was my owners...they let me end up there and to make things even worse I am heart-worm positive! Which means that instead of spending a few dollars on me every month for some heart-worm prevention, I know have to go through an extensive and expensive treatment to make me better.
I do not let those icky worms get me down, especially since I have SO much going for me! I am now in a foster home with other dogs which I am completely non-reactant too, and I have also met some cats which I haven't even acknowledged. I am great in the house and I just follow my fosters around nudging them for attention...I am a persistent boy..just saying ;) I absolutely adore people and just want to be with them. I ride well in the car and am an overall calm boy.
I am currently undergoing heartworm treatment and I could use your help in getting better. It will cost around $700 total for my treatment and it would be really neat if you could spare a few dollars for me, it doesn't have to be much..anything is fine because I want to get better and find my forever home!
