BIG FAN OF: Squeaky toys! Playing and making up games are two of her favorite things to do. She loves being active.
NOT A FAN OF: Children. She needs an adults-only home right now.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Taffy is a happy, enthusiastic youngster who's looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. She's up for any and all adventures and loves trying new things and meeting new people. This very energetic girl would make an excellent running/hiking partner -- she just needs a family who understands her energy level. Once she's worn out, she is the biggest cuddle bug ever.
OTHER REASONS SHE'S SPECIAL: She is super smart and already knows sit, down, come, stay and shake! Crate-training will be a must for Taffy. She is a busy girl, and when she's left alone she tends to get bored easily and chew household items. Crate-training is a great solution.
DREAM HOME: With active guardians who will be up for daily exercise and playtime. She can be a rowdy player with other dogs, so plan on a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs before adoption to make sure everyone's play styles are compatible. The fun is guaranteed with this girl around!

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
