Goliath is goofy and good-natured, a shepherd mix with the jovial personality of a Lab. He has been tied out during the day, but he is inside at night, so we know he is house-trained.  Goliath is great with an infant and other dogs.  Not a mean bone in his body!  But he has no place to blow off his energy, and we have been asked to find him a home,

Goliath is fully vetted; he is low heart worm positive and has finished his month of doxycycline. The vet advises slow kill because Goliath tests at such a low positive and has too much energy to handle crating. He is an ideal dog, as long as you have a fenced yard.  If you are a runner or hiker even better! We will bring this joyful, 75 pound pup to you.  Please contact CrisisDogsNC@gmail.com or 9197489546 for more info about good-natured, goofy Goliath!

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
