Spiff's Story...
Precious young Spiff is ~6 months old and a lover of everyone. . . everyone he knows, that is. Spiff doesn't show well with strangers, and he even gives a perfunctory hiss to people he meets. Someone, however, will need to adopt this precious boy on faith. Spiff is a HUGE cuddler and likes to sleep all night long with his human. He gets along great with dogs and other cats, rubbing against them happily and accepting them all. Spiff has been neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Spiff will want to have a playmate wherever he goes. If someone wants to adopt a pair of buddies, Spiff and Fudge get along wonderfully well (Fudge is in the video with Spiff). Spiff is available for adoption for $60.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spiff, a New Prague Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New Prague, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in New Prague.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Prague already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Prague breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Prague paves the way for another one to be saved.
