Louie is a male Maltese/Shih Tzu mix approximately 4 years old. He has a bright white coat of very soft curls that are non-shedding. Louie is a nice, manageable size weighing 12 pounds full grown. He is a gentle, sweet and sensitive soul who just wants to be loved. Louie is submissive and very eager to please his people. He is well behaved in the home and is excellent with his potty habits. He loves the companionship of Truman and can frequently be found snoozing with his head on Truman's belly. Louie loves to be petted and talked to quietly and will come when you call. He is a little more on the shy side, although he isn't shy when the treats come out and will perk right up and give you all his attention. He is a smart dog and easily trained. Louie knows how to sit on command and walks great on leash. He is excellent in public and will trot alongside Truman very cutely like a matched pair. Louie is good with other dogs and good with children. He thrives in a stable, peaceful environment where his routine is predictable and where he knows he is safe. He will bond very closely and loyally with his people, as he has done with his buddy, Truman. Louie has a heart of gold and is a darling dog. He is never a problem and is very low maintenance. He is just happy to be cared for and loved. Louie was rescued from the shelter after his owner could no longer care for him and Truman. He is a healthy dog and is going to make a lovely pet and companion. Louie is looking for his new forever home today!
Louie and Truman’s adoption donation is $900 ($450 each) (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACINNATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Louie and Truman are being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa, and are ready for their forever home.
