Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rumor has it! What does she have?? This precious dumpling is a senior English bulldog. She is at least 9 yrs old, mostly deaf, and previously has had puppies. Rumor, aka Big Sissy, is a peach of a gal and being mostly deaf doesn’t seem to bother her. She loves everyone she meets from babies to adults. She lives fairly peacefully with several dogs of varying ages as well as a fat cat. She's also not fazed by the chickens running around the yard. She is learning some hand signals and walks calmly on the leash. She stands still while you're cutting her nails, and has NEVER had an accident in the house. All this sweet gal just wants is to be cuddled close, go for rides in the car, cheeseburgers, and take slow walks on a cool day. Her foster mom cannot begin to describe what a pleasure Rumor is to have around the house.
Rumor has been fully vaccinated, and we are currently working on getting rid of her minor skin issues. She gets a bath once a week, and her foster mom is trying out some new food that might help her skin feel better. She will need to continue her heart worm treatment in her new home and will be spayed upon adoption. If you are interested in Rumor or any of our other dogs, please feel free to email us at: info@bullpenrescue.org.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
