Miley's Story...
Miley is a very lovely little Pekingese mix who will make a wonderful companion for whoever adopts her. She came from very bad living conditions, but adapted very well to the comfort of her foster home. We do not know how she lost an eye, most likely something to do with the living conditions she was rescued from, but it doesn’t affect her at all. Miley is a quiet girl and would prefer a calm and quiet environment. She can be a little shy at first because of her past, but there isn’t a mean bone in her small body and she soon warms up to people in a most endearing manner. Only around 3 years old, Miley has many years of spoiling to look forward to. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you are interested in offering Miley a new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miley, a Rigaud Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
