Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Skipper knows "sit" "down" and probably other tricks; he walks nice and fast on a leash and loves to be outside smelling and being by his person. He becomes startled and will bark at things that frighten him now (like an approaching bike or tall person) but once you reassure him he calms quickly and goes about his business. He will take some time to trust but by the end of three days he will be your best friend and forever companion. He loves a long hike (has gone to Inspiration Point and back); he loves, loves the outdoors and needs guidance and boundaries so that he can become a really great dog. He can chase a ball (sometimes brings it back); is potty trained and is ready to have a home and a person (to hike with, to hang out with, to sit with to be with). Courtesy post for sbcas SB shelter, 5473 Overpass Rd. Call 805-681-4369 or 805-681-5285 or visit the shelter and tell them you saw Skipper on the K-9 PALS website.
