Elmer's Story...
Elmer is a super handsome 8 year old boxer boy. He was pulled to safety from a high kill shelter. He's such a sweet boy. He's mellow and well mannered. Great with cats and dogs of all sizes. He rides well in a care and is great on a leash. He appears to be house and kennel trained. He's utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered. He's having a small growth removed off of his leg tomorrow and will be ready for his forever home next week. This is such a great dog. Get your apps in and don't miss out on this perfection!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elmer, a Grand Bay Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
