Max's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Max's Story...
Max is a 1 year old, 19lb, Schnauzer. We do believe that Max is a purebred, but since he was found on the streets, abandoned by his family we cannot be sure.
Max was found in Houston TX. After weeks of searching for his family, it was clear they were not coming for him. Our rescue knew that Max would find a great home here in CO, so we found him a ride to start is new life.

Max is just as sweet as can be. He loves to snuggle with his foster parents, and loves getting attention. If there is a lap to sit on, Max will be on it. Max gets along well with everybody and everything. He loves to play with his foster moms dogs. Since he is only a year old, he still has that happy puppy energy. He is working on potty training, and seems to be getting the hang of it. It may take him a little while in a new home to fully understand, but he is a smart little boy, so hopefully he will figure it out quick!

We would love to see Max go to a home with a family who loves to snuggle up on the couch with their dog and also have play time. Max would also be a great hiking buddy! He is the perfect size for a mountain adventure buddy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Boulder Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
