Holly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Holly's Story...
I'm Holly!

My mom was forced to give me up because her landlord decided she couldn't keep me after I had lived there for about 6 months. Someone didn't treat me very kindly before I was rescued and I have some burn marks down my back. But I am smart enough to know that most humans are kind and there is someone out there who will treat me like a princess!

I am a Collie/Shepherd mix, and I am about two years old. I am a medium sized girl at about 43 pounds.

I am house trained. I really don't like the kennel; it makes me feel to enclosed. But if you leave me in a room, I am great girl and have no accidents and I don't destroy anything. I love playing with other dogs, don't pay attention to cats. I love kids and really like to snuggle with my people. I am learning to play with toys.

My adoption fee is $175. This includes my dhpp and rabies vaccines, heartworm test and preventive (through date of adoption), flea and tick prevention (through date of adoption), spay, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Aiken Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Aiken, or seeking a Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Aiken.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aiken already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aiken breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aiken paves the way for another one to be saved.
