Meet Bryar!! He's estimated to be 2 to 3 years old. He is a Red & White Siberian Husky with parti eyes. We saved him from animal control, where he’d been taken in as a stray. He's extremely mellow, well mannered on a leash, loves going on car rides. Friendly with other dogs. He is crate trained, housebroken, & is not very vocal, for a Husky, haha! He is just a wonderful companion. He would be great with kids as well, but only children who are respectful of a dog's space. He loves hanging out in social settings and enjoys the attention!! Bryar very much enjoys his foster's fenced yard and would make an excellent first time Husky!
Absolutely no small animals - Bryar does have the Husky high prey drive - this includes small dogs!
Put your applications in for sweet and handsome Bryar! He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He was heartworm positive but has undergone treatment. He is being fostered in NC but available for adoption in either our MD and NJ location to an approved adopter.
The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.thelastresortrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm
