This sweet, fun-loving guy loves to play and to cuddle. Popeye gets along well with all people and other dogs, is curious but not harmful to cats (occasionally earning him a kitty smack on the nose!), and loves to learn new things. He is still working on his kennel and house training, but has few accidents since he is so smart and willing to please. Popeye is just a young fellow, likely just around a year old, and has adapted well to being a house dog along with his foster brothers. He needs someone to continue working with him on basic obedience and house manners, and we're fully confident he will master them in no time! If you want a happy, energetic, and loving dog to join you in outings and adventures, then snuggle up with you at the end of the day, Popeye is your boy!

About Lucky Paws Dog Rescue Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Paws Dog Rescue (LPDR) is an incorporated non-profit organization. We are currently in the process of becoming a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Our group had a dream of forming an organization that focused on what is most important in a dog rescue - the dogs. Our goal is to help as many homeless, injured, emaciated, neglected, and in need dogs as possible, while working towards larger change for animal welfare on a federal and provincial level.

We are also focused on making this a great experience for our volunteers and fosters, as we could not do this without them! Through them, we hope to not only save many homeless dogs, but also to educate and spread awareness to the general public about animal overpopulation in Canada.
