Oswald's Story...
Oswald is currently featured in the kitty window as Petsmart, Brannon Crossing until the afternoon of June 19! Drop by and say hi to him! Oswald is a handsome cat who loves GREEN toys. If you don't have a green toy that is okay because his former owner who has to give him up for health reasons will give you toys, a cat tree and litterbox - everything you need to help Oswald feel right at home.  He also loves to lay with his people but also enjoys lounging in the window seat looking outdoors. He likes to be with friendly dogs.  He may take a few days to adjust to a new home but is worth it to see his sweetness!   If you're interested in giving Oswald a permanent, loving home, please complete our application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oswald, a Wilmore Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmore, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wilmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
