Rudy-ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Rudy is a cute mix of a dog - maybe some spaniel and dachshund? He is a little guy, maybe 12 lbs or so. He is a cuddle bug and loves to be on your lap and give you kisses.

He lost most of his teeth from dental disease, but still has some in the back and still likes to chew on nylabones :-) He also loves playing with soft toys. He is ok with other dogs, but would be happy getting all the love and attention! He is about 8 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy-ADOPTION PENDING, a Sacramento Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
