Anchor's Story...
Hi! My name is Anchor. I'm a 1 year old Domestic Short Hair. I have been neutered, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I'm a super sweet guy who has had a bit of a rough past. As you can see, I had some frostbite on my ears and toes, which had to be removed. Now I am all healed up and ready to find my new forever family so I can share all my love! I really like any kind of attention, whether it be a chin scratch or a pat on the head. And I love to cuddle! I know we will be the best of friends, please come and meet me at the shelter today, it will be love at first sight!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anchor, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
