Chi Chi's Story...
Hey there, my name is Chi Chi. I am a Seal Point Ragdoll. I was adopted when I was young by a wonderful lady. Life was great. Then the worst thing I can imagine happened. My owner became very sick and had to go live in a nursing home. I miss her a lot, but my new foster mom saysthat there are people out there who will give sweet girls like me a second chance at happily ever after.

I am an older kitty, I turned 14 this year; but the vet said that I am in very good health. Being an older kitty, I am very laid back and enjoy the finer things in life –likegoodfood and daily spa time. I absolutely love having my hair brushed.

I don’t need much in my forever home, just special humans who will brush me each day and give me lots of love, and perhaps some soft beds to snuggle up in for my long naps. If you think you can give me that special home, fill out an application today!
I hope to find a family that will invite me into their homes and hearts forever!

If you'd like to meet me, please email cats@henricohumane.org to setup a visit. Don't forget to tell them you want to meet Chi Chi!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chi Chi, a Richmond Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
