Ruger is a young, male Black Lab that has an incredibly positive, happy disposition and, despite his young age, a calm, confident temperament.  Ruger weighs about 45 pounds.  He's very playful and active, loves to fetch, but also knows when to be respectful and quiet indoors or on car-rides. He quickly has learned crate-training, leash walking and other basic commands.  Ruger is remarkably social to people and to other animals, including cats.  He has been introduced to multiple animals and people and always displays well. Ruger appears to have no anxiety or aggression.  He's a young fellow who would adore having a playmate, either another dog or especially an active family.  Great house manners, terrific personality and a very strong sense of loyalty and affection, Ruger is one-in-a-million.

About Affinity Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We have been involved with foster care for 4 years and will still be volunteering with Madison Mutts as much as possible - We are a group of foster homes that will work with rescued dogs to make sure they are ready to find their new forever homes. Training and medical care will be provided for all our dogs. Our goal is to get local youth organizations involved with caring for the dogs (foster children, 4h groups etc). Our ultimate goal is to have a large property with a training center.

Our Adoption Process...

Applicants must complete an applicaton and must be approved prior to making an appointment to meet the dog - All family members and their dogs must meet before adoption is completed. At the time of adoption a contract will be completed that will have that states that the dog must be returned to Affinity Rescue if the adopter can no longer keep the dog.
