Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Poodle/Lhasa mix is a perfect best friend for those with who are searching for an extremely smart and loyal family dog. These breeds are famous for their great personalities and loving and snuggly ways. Both breeds have stunning coats that (when healthy with love and great nutrition) will be cottony-soft and matt-free. They're truly a find for allergic adopters who are limited in their choices of non-shedding breeds.Quinn's coat has the most beautiful colors running through it...shades of silver and black that are just waiting to shine with a sudsy bath and a new hairdo.
These sweet Lhasapoos are known to love being part of a family...so engaging with their beloved people and other family pets. Since they require a certain amount of exercise (like all dogs) and love being with their people...if a walk is the order of the day - count them in! Quinn would truly enjoy cruising the neighborhood paths...and then crashing on the couch snuggling close to her favorite humans and canines. Quinn is an adorable and engaging girl (so sorry about the sad shelter photo). We've requested a grooming for sweet Quinn...no question she'll be the cutest girl around.
Quinn's sweet nature is just waiting to be enjoyed and appreciated...she makes playmates everywhere she goes. Once she feels safe and secure. Quinn will be a social girl and that means everyone she meets ultimately may become a friend. You know when a loved one approaches, Quinn's tail starts the greeting and it wiggles up through her entire body ending in a smile. And if your lap is available, up Quinn goes to cuddle and snuggle and let you know the level of her devotion.
At about 9 - 12 months old and 12 lbs, Quinn seems to have left behind the neglect and lack of love that made up her early life. She has become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier her family is with her behavior, the more she shines with her accomplishments. We would like to see Quinn in a home that includes her in family time and activities. Quinn would be a wonderful companion for retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with an adorable young pup. Quinn doesn't require another dog to be happy...but does enjoy her canine relationships with kind and gentle dogs.
We've requested that Quinn be spayed prior to her transport to Denver. We're not optimistic that this will occur due to far too few vets in this industrial area of Kansas. If it doesn't, Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs for Quinn's spay and microchip if our Denver vet is used.
Quinn will be arriving on transport in Denver on Tuesday 3/14/17. If interested in this snuggly and sweet best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
