My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We really don't know what Noodle's mix is. People that have met her see everything from Mastiff and Boxer to Puggle and even Shepherd. She really does have the face of a Mastiff and also drools like one. Whatever she is, she is cute and calm and seems gentle. She is an affectionate and very social Dog. She weighs 65 lbs. and is the size of a Lab. She walks well on a leash and enjoys riding in the car. She was spayed on March 2nd and s ready for a home. She was given up after a small child in her home jumped on her when she was asleep and she nipped him, so she needs a home with no kids under age 10. She knows some commands including Sit, Down and Paw.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application here: http://medfieldshelter.com/adopt. Our dog adoption fee is $350. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash and a month's worth of heartworm preventative.

With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have one employee. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
