Banana's Story...
Banana M17-006 - My coat can tell you why they named me Banana West! I’m 18 months old, and am an assertive young man who enjoys being in charge of other cats, but I adore people and take correction gracefully. I am from a managed cat colony in Buhl with great care until our wonderful caregiver died suddenly. Thankfully, a neighbor has been caring for us and keeping us safe. She asked Magicats to help us find safe forever MOSTLY INSIDE homes, which is a great idea. We’ve been working hard to get ready, and some of us are already adopted. I will be at Twin Falls PetSmart to meet come people and choose a new forever family. I’ve been practicing my social skills, had my neuter surgery, all my shots, and am negative for FIV/FELV. If you’re looking for a smart, up-and-coming leader type kitty for your household, we should definitely talk. I’m okay with minor mouse duty, but I’d also like a cozy lap, pleasant petting, some toys, great conversation and some human pals. I’m looking forward to this next adventure, and I just know it’s going to be great! See you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banana, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
