Edith's Story...
Edith and her siblings are up for grabs! We rescued the litter of 8 from a high-kill shelter in north Georgia. The mother and father are unknown so the litter is pot-luck - you don't know exactly what they'll grow into. From the looks of it Edith has a lot of retriever in her. She has two siblings who look a lot like her but the rest of her brothers and sisters are black or dark brown with different coats. We guesstimate Edith will grow into a medium-size dog, maybe around 50+ lbs. - maybe bigger, maybe smaller - it's hard to say without knowing what her parents looked like.

The litter was probably born in early January, 2017.

Edith is more mild-mannered than some of her siblings and she has the lightest colored coat in the group. She'd rather be in your lap or at your side rather than go investigate on her own. She's friendly and sweet as sugar. She'll make a great pet for any active person or family who gives her plenty of attention, exercise and love.

Edith, a Marietta Retriever (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
