Meet the sweetest pittie mix you would ever want to share your couch with! Tee Tee has been waiting since February of 2016 for her forever home to pick her (she was pulled from an East Tennessee animal shelter where she was taken due to severe neglect). She is great with other dogs that really want to play (her preference is for younger, energetic male dogs that love to tug, play chase, and rough house). While she loves all people, she can be a little shy upon first meeting strangers, and needs a little time to warm up (then she's your best friend). For her human companion, she would really like a woman to lead her pack. Even though she enjoys the company of the men in her household, she bonds quicker with human females. She will lick all children she meets, and loves to try and get their attention and love! No cats in her new home, please.
Tee is house trained and crate trained, and also dog-door trained. She does prefer just to be loose in the house where she can curl up on a dog bed or on the couch with a blanket, but on sunny, warm days, she can be found outside sunbathing (fenced in yard would be on her wish list). Her biggest fault would be she still has a tendency to want to chew on plastic toys and sometimes paperback books if they fall into the floor (things that don't belong to her), so some minor "puppy proofing" is still recommended. She enjoys chewing on nylabones and rawhides, and playing with squeaky toys, although she's not much on retrieving. She has minor food aggression tendencies around other dogs, so she'll just need a separate feeding spot away from others to be comfortable.
Tee is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and up-to-date on monthly preventatives. We estimate her DOB to be around 05/01/2015, and she is around 45 pounds. She is in foster care in East Tennessee. Her adoption fee has been reduced to $250, which includes all vetting and transport.
