Callie's Story...
Introducing Callie.

One of our fosters found this sweet girl wandering the streets and picked her up. Callie was easy to catch, seems as though she was looking for someone to find her. And boy did this dog get lucky - her finder has been fostering pups for years. She took Callie home and contacted us about helping her find a home. Of course we said we would be happy to help and the rest is, as they say, history.

Callie is being fosterd in a home with other dogs and cats. Shes great with kids and warms up quickly with people she meets. Her adoption fee is $500 and will include her spay surgery, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccinations, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area upon adoption. Let us know if you are interested in learning more about Callie and we will be happy to send along an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Chicago Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
