Meet Brian! This active 10-month-old came to Mahoning County Dog Pound as a stray and was then transferred to rescue. He has a beautiful black coat with a unique brindle pattern on his legs, chin, and eyebrows! Brian is house-trained, does well on his leash, and knows "sit." He is the definition of a velcro dog and is either following his foster mom around the house or snuggling in her lap. Brian is a very energetic boy and would benefit from an active family that enjoys hiking or jogging. He would love a big yard or a doggy foster sibling! Brian loves everyone he meets and does well with children. He needs some help with his manners and does jump when excited, so he may do best with older children.
To adopt Brian, we require that you are at least 21-years-old, own your home, have a veterinary reference, and have any current pets spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Brian's adoption fee is $250 and covers the cost of his vetting, which includes his neuter surgery, microchip, heartworm test, Rabies vaccination, Bordatella vaccination, DHLPP vaccination, fecal test, nail trim, Drontal dewormer, and Revolution for flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
