Gibson's Story...
Gibson is looking for his furever home! He's a little shy, initially, but warms up quickly and gets along well with other dogs and children. He loves to snuggle on your lap, go on walks and play fetch. Here is a video of Gibson playing with his foster-dog buddies: Gibson looks like a beagle, dachshund or chihuahua-mix and has the most adorable freckles on his nose and legs. He is about one year old and weighs 16 lbs. He is neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Gibson is doing great with potty-training and knows how to use the doggy-door but, as always, there can be some retraining needed when he is in a new environment. Fostered in Livermore, CA. If you would like to adopt Gibson, please apply at
Adoption fee is $275 and includes sterilization, vaccines, microchip etc

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gibson, a Concord Mixed Breed (Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Concord, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Concord.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Concord already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Concord breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Small)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Concord paves the way for another one to be saved.
