Sweet Maya is ready for her forever, loving home! This girl was rescued from a construction site where she’d been hanging out for a long time, being fed scraps by the workers. (A good samaritan took her in and is fostering her.)
Maya is 48 pounds, estimated to be about one year old, fully vetted, HW negative and crate trained. She is a sweet girl with a gentle, loving temperament, gets along with other dogs and is curious, but not aggressive, with cats. Only because of her youthful exuberance, older children might be a better match for Maya; the little ones could be accidentally knocked down!
If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Maya is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
