Cricket's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Cricket's Story...
Cricket is approx 9 months and 20 lbs as of 3/17 and will likely reach 25lbs. He looks and acts like a typical wheaten puppy mix - very active, loves to run and play, can be a little "mouthy" and likes to jump up when he gets excited. We feel it best he go to an adult household. He is very sweet and playful, loves running and playing with his buddies. He is pretty well house trained. He could do with some more leash training. He loves toys!! We require an experienced adopter and a fully fenced in yard as he loves to run and play and would not be suitable for an apt. He is not hypoallergenic.

The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care. Our adoption application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket, a Bedminster Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
