Biscotti's Story...
Meet Biscotti! Biscotti is new here, so our caretakers are still learning about his personality. He is around a year old, currently weighs 31lbs and was transferred from another shelter. He has a gorgeous brindle coat and is a total mixed up mutt! Some guesses we've had are Boxer and Boston Terrier, but what we know for sure is he's a total sweetheart! He even has a quirky tail to match. He gets along with other dogs, however we are not yet sure how he is with cats or kids. His foster from where he came from actually let us know he'll talk like he has some husky in him! He would even "talk" with her 65lb Husky mix and also got along great with her 9-year-old and husband. As we get to know him, we will let you know. Could this sweet, goofy guy be the one for you?

Biscotti is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. For more information, please give us a call at (302) 571-0111 or visit us at our center (701 A Street Wilmington, DE) Tuesday-Friday 12-7pm or Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biscotti, a Wilmington Mixed Breed (Medium)/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Medium)/Boston Terrier for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Medium)/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Medium)/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Medium)/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
