Abby's Story...
Abby is the cutest girl around!!Are you looking for a lap dog?? Do you want a dog to take for car rides?? How about a snuggler in bed?? Look no further, Abby is the girl for you. She is a little overweight at 18 lbs but with a daily walk and the right diet, that should be no problem to get her to a more appropriate weight for her size. she does have a nickname here at the rescue, Gabby Abby, just like most doxies, she does have an opinion about everything and likes to let you know what it is. She also thinks she is a guard dog and let you know when there are strange noises just in case you dont hear them. That's why we love her...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Valley Center Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Valley Center, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Valley Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
