Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rob's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Rob's Story...
Rob is approximately a year to two years old. He came out to Colusa County when the floods were happening. when getting neutered and they found rocks in the stomach. His teeth show he definitely been eating rocks or anything he could find on the ground. Great dog all around eager to please a little shy at first. Has a dental appointment on the 15th and see what we can do about his teeth. Would need at least teenage kids on this boy not sure his past.

In general, we will not adopt a puppy or kitten to a family with a young child in the home. Not only could it be physically dangerous for the animal, but also for the child. Puppies and kittens are used to playing with their littermates, and would view a young child as a fellow littermate. Play-biting and scratching, nibbling and clawing are the ways puppies and kittens communicate. And although these actions are not signs of aggression in the puppy or kitten, their teeth and claws are very sharp.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rob, a Redding Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Redding, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Redding.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redding already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redding breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redding paves the way for another one to be saved.
