This sweet old gal is Winnie. We believe Winnie is a Border Collie/ Australian Shepherd mix. One of our fosters recently found Winnie in a shelter and was so sad for her that she couldn't leave her there. Winnie is approximately eight years old and deserves to live the rest of her life in a home as part of a family.

Winnie's foster mom says that Winnie made herself right at home almost immediately. Winnie is a sweet old soul. She is very laid and goes with the flow. Her favorite thing to do is to lounge around in her favorite spots in the house. However, don't let that fool you. She has a little pep in her step and she loves her daily walks. She wants nothing more than to be loved by people, and she attempts to be a 55 lb. lap dog. Winnie needs a person who will be able to spend a lot of their day with her. She cannot be crated. However, she is absolutely perfect being left out.She is house trained, so she does not have accidents and she does not chew anything up. She is the sweetest old girl with a heart of gold and will be a perfect companion.

Winnie is in a foster home with other dogs. She has done fine with them. However, because she is an older girl, she would do best with more laid back dogs who won't want to jump on her and play all the time!

Winnie's adoption fee is $175. This includes her spay,dewormer, rabies and dhpp vaccines, heartworm test and preventive (through date of adoption), flea and tick prevention (through date of adoption), and microchip.
