Oscar's Story...
I'm all dressed up in my tuxedo fur-suit for a formal evening out but have no desire to be out ever again! As a baby, I was fending for myself at a local Tractor Supply. The nice humans at Stray Central were in the store buying kitty food and mentioned they did cat rescue. The manager, one of many employees who were feeding me, told them about me and home with them I went! I'm about 10 months old now, am very inquisitive, and love attention - but I'm also content to do my own thing as well. I get along with the other cats in my foster home and will be a loving, delightful addition to your family if you'll give me the chance! Please contact my foster mom, Emily, for more info - CainEmily38@gmail.com or call/text 479-251-0335.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Farmington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Farmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Farmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
