Chaka's Story...
***Courtesy Posting***
Located in Friendswood - Chaka is a 7 year old Dalmatian/Australian Cattle Dog mix who is looking for a forever family. You see, she had a family, but when she was 6 years old, they surrendered her back to BARC, and returned her with heartworms. She is currently being treated by BARC so that is being taken care of. But, she still needs a home. She has somewhere to stay for 2 ½ more weeks, but now needs a forever home. A nice lady took her off of the euthanasia list, and took her home for 2 – 3 weeks, but cannot keep her longer than that. She is a sweet cuddle bunny that needs someone to love and care for her. She is currently fostered with other dogs and has shown no aggression at all. She is a cuddler and an inside dog. Can you help Chaka live out the next 7 years in her forever home? She was so confused when the foster picked her up, but is settling in now and gaining weight. She is beautiful! Please email mvw228@Gmail.com for more information about this sweet lady.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaka, a Friendswood Dalmatian/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Friendswood, or seeking a Dalmatian/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Friendswood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Friendswood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Friendswood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Dalmatian/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Friendswood paves the way for another one to be saved.
