Dusty's Story...
This is Dusty – an 11-week old Great Pyrenees. He currently weighs 16 pounds and will be a big boy when he grows up. Dusty is a healthy sweet puppy who dreams of sheep and a cozy place on the rug. That coat will stay clean with just a brushing since dirt doesn’t stick to their fur. Dusty may not look fast but, he will steal your heart faster than a cheetah can run the 100-yard dash. Dusty is up to date on his shots and worming.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dusty, a Bartonsville Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartonsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
