LIL BIT's Story...
Meet Lil Bit! Lil Bit is a 1 - 1 and 1/2 year old Affenpinscher possible terrier mix who weighs approximately 9 pounds; she is likely hypoallergenic. This darling girl is the perfect dog with a sweet, calm disposition. She gets along with other dogs (preferably around her own size to play with) and people of all ages, and wins them over with those big brown eyes of hers and her adorable underbite. Like her name, Lil Bit is a petite girl with long legs, and combined with her smoky-colored coat of fur she sure is a stunner! Her fur is super soft to the touch, and she loves for people to give her lots of pets and belly rubs. Lil Bit also loves to go on walks, snuggle, and play with toys - she really is the perfect girl! Additionally, she is crate trained, house trained, and walks perfectly on a leash. If you're looking for a well behaved, amazing new addition to your family, then this is the dog for you. Lil Bit is current on all vaccines, fecal testing, deworming, vet exams, dental cleaning, microchip, and is spayed.
Fun Facts About the Affenpinscher:
The Affenpinscher dogs have been known for about 1600 years. At that time, they were somewhat bigger. It's name derives from the German Affe (monkey). The race is ancient and prior to the Brussels Griffon and Miniature Schnauzer. The pedigree was created to be a hunter of mice, working to eliminate rodents from kitchens, barns and stables. The first draft of the standard was in 1908, though it was not until the year 1913 when the first official standard was recognized.
