Meet Walter! Walter joined The Rescue Inn just a few weeks ago and is a 7 year old poodle mix who weighs about 13 lbs. He is getting used to being groomed and can be touchy around his legs and feet, but we think he looks fabulous! Walter had a much needed dental after joining us. Even though he only has 2 teeth left, he eats from a slow feeder because he likes to inhale his food or water. Walter is crate trained and likes to sleep in his crate overnight. Walter is good on leash and likes to be his foster momma's shadow at home. We think Walter may have been a puppy mill dog, so he is looking for a family that lets him adjust at his own rate. He gets nervous of any overhead movements. He made a breakthrough on Saturday and played with a toy for the first time! He likes squeakers!

Walter can't wait to find his furever family who will show him unending love. He promises to be a great companion for years to come!
