My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy (Honey) Bear (M)   Apricot  2 yrs.  15 lbs.   Fee:  $350

I look like a stuffed animal,  I feel like the fur of your favorite Teddy Bear, but I am a LOT more fun.  I like to walk, cuddle, play with  dogs, toys,  and people.

So what are my likes?  I like other dogs.  I like food, but my tummy is a bit sensitive.  I like sunbathing--it feels so good to close your eyes while soaking up the rays on a balmy day, don’t you agree?    I can sleep with my person, or in a crate near by.

And, like everyone, I just like feeling good, happy and safe.  You’ll know when I feel happy because I get so excited that I wiggle all over!  And I know I'll like YOU if we meet.  I am kind of neutral toward kids.  But if you were my family, I would warm up.  I think that cats are to chase.

What are my best features?  My  foster dad  says I have “intelligent observant eyes” and “keen ears.”  Well that’s true.  But it isn’t just my eyes that are intelligent.  I’m intelligent through and through.  I am getting good at leash walking and at social relations when I meet dogs. But if you wanted to train me, I would love it. Doing tricks, being with my person, all of that floats my boat

So if you would like a Teddy ( Honey) Bear of your very own, please contact NorCal Poodle Rescue.   Having my own home and person is my dream, you know, and you could could be the one to make it come true.  If you take me home it won’t be long before I’ll be sunbathing at your (make that our)  house and wiggling all over every time I see you

Dogs are vaccinated, microchipped  and spayed/neutered before adoption.

The necessary first step to inquire about any dog, is to complete the NCPR Adoption Interest Form. Once we receive the NCPR Adoption Interest Form, a volunteer will contact you promptly. We need your information to match you with the perfect companion. NorCal Poodle Rescue places dogs within northern California only.
