My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little LYLE LOVETT will grow on you like no other. His skin and fur were in horrific shape when he was picked up as a stray and he had a baseball-sized anal tumor which had to be removed. And although LYLE isn't fully blind, he does have a hard time seeing things if they aren't close to him. He is also hard of hearing.

LYLE LOVETT wants nothing more in life than human affection. He LOVES to be held and touched. If you leave the room, he will stick his face on the door until you return (or the wall he thinks is the door...). He also freely roams our play yards with all our other friendly dogs and would have no issues with other household pets.

LYLE also loves his leash walks and enjoys being outside with his people. Although he might not be a young buck anymore, this little guy will instantly melt your heart. He has been through a lot of Bad in his life, but Mr. LOVETT has blossomed since being rescued.

LYLE is vaccinated and neutered. He is house and crate trained, micro-chipped and is heartworm negative. We require an application, home check and adoption fee. We do adopt out of state and can assist with transport arrangements. Our dogs are not allowed to fly cargo.

All our dogs are in foster care or reside at our rehab and training facility and have a safe place with us until they find their forever home. We are located near Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
