Iris's Story...
Meet Iris -- an adorable little Papillon/Chihuahua mix. This sweet girl came to us because her former owner tried to rescue her, but her older dog was not having any part of sharing his home with a new puppy. She is a 4-5 lbs Papillon/Chihuahua mix, about 13 weeks old. She has such a soft, silky coat. She immediately settled in at her foster home and plays well with other dogs.

If you are interested in giving this sweet baby a home, please go to our website http://jojosdoghouse.com and download an application or email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you one. Adoption fee is $250 and includes age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and parasite treatment. Thanks for choosing adoption!

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Iris, a Gallatin Papillon/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Chihuahua for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Papillon/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Chihuahua breeders who help with Papillon/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
