Additional info: Buster, went into the shelter as a stray with another dog, Lily, whom we also rescued earlier. He had an adopter but they never showed to pick him up! That was just too sad and we couldn't leave him sitting there all alone so we took him too. We think he may be Lily's daddy as you can see the resemblance between the two. He is a little scared and unsure at this time, but not at all aggressive. We would prefer a home with no kids at this time, just until we get to know him a little more. He is generally good with other dogs, although he can get overwhelmed when there are too many dogs around him. He is calm around cats. Buster is a chewer but he is motivated to learn and follow directions with training treats. He has the sweetest little face. Buster is just getting the hang of walking on leash and is still a little reluctant so we are working with him on this. This little guy is an escape artist and if he is not leashed when the door opens he will take himself off on a little adventure. He likes his space at times when scared and he is quiet in his crate and loves to be petted. All in all, a special, quirky little guy full of love and energy.
