Meet Ezzy!

Esmerelda, AKA Ezzy, is a sweet, good-natured lap cat who just wants as much love as she can get!  She has a personality you can't miss! She loves to play with her toys and likes when you throw the mice for her to chase.  She loves the simple things in life! Food, toys, and cuddles, cuddles, cuddles! As an adult (6-8 years old) she has a wonderful disposition and will play to her heart's desire, lay with you on the couch, or hang out on her on. Talk about an independent lady!

Poor Ezzy had absolutely terrible periodontal disease when she came into rescue and ended up having to have all of her teeth pulled! However, Ezzy did not feel sorry for herself in the slightest! She simply re-adjusted her lifestyle and she can eat dry food or canned with ZERO trouble. She just asks that you don't make fun of her for sticking her tongue out now and then ;)

She would be a wonderful companion for just about anyone! She would love to spend all her days with a retired couple or in another low-traffic household (without non-school aged children). She adjusted to her foster home very quickly and warmed up to everyone in no time!! She is not a high maintenance cat and would thrive as an only pet (as she is in her foster-home), but has potential with other, low-key animals.

Ezzy is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated! Her adoption fee is just $60 and would love to meet her potential forever family today! Fill out a non-obligatory adoption application at www.pawsandprayers.org if you are interested in adoption! Feel free to ask questions-

About Paws and Prayers

About Our Rescue Group...

Our primary mission is to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for homeless cats and dogs. Our secondary goal is to make sure all of these animals are spayed or neutered. It is a big task, but we are ready! Paws and Prayers is based in the Northeast Ohio region. We operate as a non-profit, incorporated organization that functions solely on the efforts of foster homes and adoption volunteers.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting one of our lovely animals, please email us at info@pawsandprayers.org or email the foster directly, their name is listed in the listing. If you are serious about adopting, you will need to fill out an application. We charge between $150-$300 for dog adoptions at this time and $60-80 for cats (all of our cats are shown at the Chapel HIll PetsMart and can be adopted anytime during their business hours). This goes towards the cost of rescuing and medical expenses, which includes spaying or neutering.
